Front Desk/Office Assistant
SUMMARY
Accurate IT Services is looking for an office assistant to handle basic office functions. The functions include customer service, phone answering, call screening, office organization, office maintenance, and assisting top level management as assigned.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Answer phones, screen phone calls, transfer calls, and answer basic questions.
- Follow and track appointments, cancellations, arrivals, and departures.
- Assist with Social Media sites.
- Assist sales with invoicing and credit card processing.
- Office (s), break area housekeeping.
- Sending Facsimile
- Assisting office staff food and beverage acquisition.
- Maintain office security standards.
- Assisting with basic marketing materials (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Support sales, marketing, executive level staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma required. Associates Degree preferred.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Computer literate with the ability to learn new applications.
- Duties require professional verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to type 45 wpm.
- 1 year office experience required (phone, fax, computer, customer services).
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment (business casual).
- Some travel may be required to perform job function.
- Approved overtime may be required to perform job function.
